About Therapy Lab

Millions of Americans are searching for better therapy and mental health support. Therapy Lab’s mission is to meet the moment with CBT-based therapy plans designed for common problems across the lifespan. Therapy Lab’s innovative menu of treatment options offers clients an entirely new paradigm for therapy, and we have a clinician team that’s passionate about the approach.

Therapy Lab is not a traditional group practice with open-ended, unstructured weekly sessions and a loose group affiliation. Our plans are time-limited, structured, and evidence-based, and they are accompanied by content to enhance the client and therapist experience.  The plans work efficiently for clients, and clinicians love to deliver them and work with colleagues to refine the method.  Beyond face-to-face session time with clients, clinicians play a role in developing plans, brainstorming new services, and working with the community through events and workshops designed to educate and destigmatize mental health.

At Therapy Lab, our clinicians work, learn, and play together to create science-based, data-driven therapy plans to address some of today’s most pressing mental health challenges. We are a mostly virtual team, which offers clinicians flexibility, and we have an outstanding team culture focused on community, collaboration and our mission, along with attractive benefits. We are a clinician-led company, led by Dr. Chandler Chang, and our core belief is that taking care of clinicians is essential to providing good client care.

Job Description

Therapy Lab seeks a New York and/or Massachusetts-licensed therapist with a passion for evidence-based treatments and mental wellness innovation. Our growing therapy startup, based in L.A., serves California, Massachusetts, and six other states. Therapy Lab offers time-limited treatments based on science to adults, couples, children, teens, and families. We are seeking a skilled, licensed therapist (Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW) to provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy virtually. The ideal candidate is highly qualified to work with adults (and possibly couples) or with a pediatric population  — or with both groups as a trained generalist.

This role includes opportunities to create content, work with employers and in schools, and contribute to the development of new technology that delivers exceptional mental healthcare more efficiently and effectively.

Therapy Lab’s clients are typically low-risk, high-functioning individuals seeking insight, psychoeducation, and science-based intervention.
